Animoto Project

I choose to do my animoto project for geometry. It is about the basic shapes and angles used in geometry. It also shows how geometry is used in real life and the shapes used in real places. I enjoyed making an animoto video. It was a fun way to share pictures and text. I really like the animoto; it was also very simple to use so I liked it even more.

Recap of my Web 2.0 Course

It has been a good semester in electronic publications. I have learned to do a lot of new things on the computer. On thing I liked about Mr. Plough is he came and saw you almost every week in class to make sure you were doing okay and to see if you had any questions. He would come and see you even if you didn't ask him to come. I don't see some of my teachers all year and I liked being able to see at least one of them. One thing he could have done better on was making the assignments easier to understand. He did a good job explaining most of them, but some of them I had to go through twice because I would get confused. After the second time though I usually understood the assignment.
The tool I found most useful that we used this year was blogger. I like being able to share my thoughts and put my opinion out there. The tool I found the least useful was flikr. I liked flikr, but i just think that animoto is a beter tool that you can do a lot more with than you can with flikr. I learned a lot this year and it was a fun class.

Summertime!

I can't wait for summer. I don't really think anyone can anymore though. We're so close to being out of school and into the amazing warm weather. Is there anyone that doesn't like summer vacation? Summer vacation is almost like magic for teenagers. It's like a time for us where anything can happen and our whole lives can change. We could meet anyone, go anywhere, and no one knows what's going to happen. It's like we're free from all responsibilities.
During the summer we can meet people that will change our lives forever and do things that can effect the how we will live the rest of our lives. Some people will get summer jobs or internships, while most others go on vacations and try to relax as much as possible on their time off. The ones that get internships and jobs could make a good impression and have their future really set up for them. The others that are just relaxing though aren't really doing much for their future. They might have a summer love, but that probally won't make it into the fall. At least they are having fun though.
Personally, I will be playing tennis all summer and not relaxing. I will probally not leave for any vacations or get an internship. I will be playing five hours of tennis a day really taking in my summer. If I do go to the beach or pool though I will have many nice tan lines to show off. This is my way of getting ready for the future though. I have to get a tennis scholarship for college, and if giving up my summer is what it's going to take that's what I'm going to do. Ofcoarse I will have a little fun here and there.

Leaving

It's my junior year. The most important year of high school. The year where you have to find a college to go to and really get serious about what your going to do about your life. The year where you have to get ready to leave. For me, theres no choice I'm going to college and leaving Nevada in less than a year and a half. It's scary to think about and get ready to leave a place that you lived your whole life. I feel like everywhere I go someone is either asking me where I'm going to college or there is something reminding me that I am going to have to leave. My whole life is here and I have never been anywhere without my dad or sisters for a long time before. It is a overwhelming thought to think that I will have to start over in someplace new so soon.

Not only do I have to think about leaving, but my sister, who I do everything with, is leaving for college at the end of the semester. She is a year older than me, but we are so close. I don't know who I'm going to be able to rely on when she leaves for college. All of my friends are a year older also so they are packing their bags and going to college to. I feel like everyone is leaving and then I'm going to have to leave. It is scary to think that I am going to be alone.
